Thank you to everyone who supported our Super Fun Run!
Our PTA is in need of YOUR rescue efforts!
On November 2, 2018, our students will be running, walking, and maybe even flying their way through the annual Color Me CFK – Super Fun Run. We have already started preparing in order to successfully complete our objectives. While this is sure to be a fun event, there is much more important purpose – to raise money for our PTA. The PTA is a vital part of our school, and it needs your help!
Why is our PTA so important?
- In order to have a more effective, personalized learning experience, our school’s student population is capped at 264 students. This mean our funding isn’t as substantial as other schools. With the help of our parents and community, our PTA fills the gaps in funding.
- Our students rely on the PTA to fund our library and science programs, including salaries
- It funds school functions and student field study scholarships
- It assists in funding of individual classroom requests, audio visual equipment, and facilities improvements.
What Kind of HERO are YOU?
We are building a League of Heroes, and we would love for you to join us. Like any justice league hero, each one of you has special powers and talents that we need to make the Color Run successful! We certainly appreciate your membership, but don’t just join the PTA, be a hero! We will need many of you Superfriends to volunteer for the few weeks leading up to the event and also volunteers on the day of the event. Any assistance is appreciated. Please remember – this is our one major fundraising event! If successful, our kids (and parents) won’t have to sell cookies and wrapping paper like the other schools!
If you are interested in helping in any way, please contact us so we can be ready to ROLL to the RESCUE!
Most importantly…..CFK will keep 100% of all profits raised!
Be a SUPER PARENT!
Please contact any of the Fundraising Committee members to see how you can help: Chanda Crimminger and Jen Bledsoe. (Contact details for the Fundraising Committee were sent home with parents at the Back to School event on August 16th. If you don’t have that flyer, please contact the PTA Board via email@example.com.)
